It comes with slide out cup holders!

Lincoln has officially graduated from toddler car seat to a full on big kid booster seat! Our little boy's growin' up!

We'd like to point out the features of this particular model:
  • Sleek and durable mesh blue and black striping
  • built in shoulder strap harness
  • Memory foam butt padding
And ours and Lincoln's personal favorite:
  • Count them! Not one, but TWO slide-out cup holders, for those extra hot AZ summers!
You may laugh but an extra sippy cup full of water could mean the difference between dehydration and just barely making it to the 7-11!

Car Show

They have a car show every Friday night at the Albertson's by our house. We decided to check it out. Lincoln liked this one, a '70 something Mustang GTO.

Sweet car! We're going back next week.

Sunbeam

Last Sunday Lincoln was beyond excited to see Olivia at church she had been in Utah for three weeks and he had missed playing with her at the park and in nursery. Starting on Thursday he repeatedly reminded Shawn and I that Christmas was over and that meant Olivia was coming back. All morning getting ready for church he was so excited to see Olivia.

Well the moment finally came, they held hands and walked off to nursery together. Maddie (Olivia's mom) and I were talking in the hallway when Kade (Olivia's dad) came and said that Olivia was having an emotional meltdown because they came and took Lincoln away to Primary because he was a Sunbeam now. I was dumbfounded! I was so surprised that Lincoln was old enough to be in Primary and be a Sunbeam! I actually got teary-eyed and Maddie laughed at my shock. A little while later a friend of mine at church told me that she saw Lincoln alone out in the hallway and asked him what he was doing out there all by himself. He responded "I can't find Olivia, she's not in my class anymore". I guess it was a rough transition for both Lincoln and Olivia.

Today was a little better, probably because Olivia was sick and wasn't a church today. He only had to come see me twice and apparently he asked his teacher if he could give a "talk" next week, so he seems to be warming up to primary a little.

1st Trip to the Dentist

Lincoln had his first trip to the dentist on Tuesday this week with Dr. Gary Manning, DDS. Shawn said that Lincoln was very brave and didn't get scared or squirm at all. AND most importantly his teeth look great, no cavities! Dr. Manning said it was too early to tell if he will have all the orthodontic issues his Mommy and her siblings had, but we will continue to save for braces, mouth guards, head gear, additional tooth extraction and anything else they throw at us . . . just in case.

Oliver was good at the dentist too.
